‘Station 19’ Season 5 Episode 16 First Look Photos Reveal Michael Dixon’s Return

‘Station 19’: Pat Healy as Michael Dixon | ABC/Liliane Lathan

In ABC’s preview photos for Post 19 Season 5 Episode 16, Pat Healy returns as Michael Dixon. In episode 14, Travis Montgomery (Jay Hayden) had dinner with Emmett Dixon (Lachlan Buchanan) and his family. However, Travis and Michael Dixon argued about the LGBTQ community and the Crisis One Intervention program over dinner. Then, Emmett’s mother unexpectedly revealed that Dixon was planning to run for mayor and kill the program Dean Miller (Okierete Onaodowan) started before he died in Season 5.

In the first photo, Dixon stands on a podium in front of flags. He has a sign and a sticker that says “Dixon for Mayor”. This photo, coupled with his conversation about his dislike of Station 19, indicates that he is likely speaking out against Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) during his campaign for mayor. Preview for Post 19 Season 5 Episode 16 exclusively features Andy’s impeachment and local news reports about his involvement in Jeremy’s (Daniel Di Tomasso) death. It is therefore logical that the policeman mentions it in his speech.

Carina and Maya are not in the preview, photos or synopsis of episode 16 of season 5 of “Station 19”

While it makes sense that the upcoming Episode 16 revolves around Andy’s fate, it’s odd that the producers didn’t mention Carina and Maya.

“Andy’s fate remains unknown as a trial date is set,” said the ABC the summary reads. “Meanwhile, Vic and Sullivan are approached by an unexpected guest, and the crew responds to a row of burning townhouses.”

‘Station 19’: Are Carina and Maya making baby plans?

On April 27, editor and director of Post 19, David Greenspan, responded to a tweet from a fan about Marina. The viewer wanted to know his opinion about his favorite episode of Marina — Carina and Maya — in Season 5.

“My other favorite Marina Season 5 episode is coming soon…516”, Greenspan tweeted. “But I have a feeling the fandom will disagree.”

The director mentioned that the May 5 episode contains some of his favorite scenes between Maya and Carina. However, the “fandom” probably won’t like the episode as many fans have recently claimed that Jack becomes Marina’s sperm donor. Maya cheated on Carina with Jack Post 19 Season 3 Episode 15. However, Carina agreed to use Jack’s sperm for their baby Marina two seasons later.

Viewers hated the cheating story, but they don’t like the jack-as-a-sperm-donor story even more (if that’s even possible). Fans don’t like the bisexual portrayal. Many viewers on Reddit agree with a specific tweet to describe their feelings.

“S19 wrote a story about two gay women having a baby together that’s kind of not about two gay women having a baby together at all,” said the Tweeter Lily.

the Post 19 Season 5 Episode 16 does not preview any photos of Carina and Maya. But, a director’s tweet indicates that the couple are talking more about Jack becoming their sperm donor. Many viewers hope that Marina will not follow through on their choice to involve Jack in their baby plans.

Post 19 Season 5 episode 16 returns Thursday, May 5, at 8 p.m. ET, on ABC.
