Swarup told the cop that he didn’t have the papers with him at the time, but he could drop by his house and show the papers to Singh. However, the traffic policeman had nothing to do with it and issued the challan to him.
The lineman was so frustrated that he decided to team up with his co-workers from the electric department to get revenge on the cop and cut off the power to the police station.

In an interesting development later, Swarup told the media that the police station was using electricity without even an electric meter, or in other words, illegally.
