Drift will launch the pre-season for PC and mobile devices on January 11, consoles will come later

KartRider: Drift will launch its pre-season for PC on Steam, iOS, and Android mobile devices on January 11. Sometime later, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will receive the update which will launch events offering various rewards, shops, Racing Passes, and more.

Nexon’s announcement for the update doesn’t say much about what’s heading to the game, but confirms the focus on cross-platform play and progression initiatives throughout the pre-season. Much of this will expand into the console versions to fully unlock its cross-platform capabilities with PC and mobile devices. Until January 11, the developers will continue to refine KartRider: Drift.

According to Gematsu, the pre-season will pick up all the progress from the official service when it launched and will feature events similar to its early access phase.
