Catalytic converter stolen from car at Huntington station: police


HUNTINGTON STATION, NY – Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating the person who police believe stole a car in July.

A person stole a catalytic converter from a 2004 Honda Accord parked outside a residence on East 23rd Street around 4:45 a.m. on July 10, police said. The catalytic converter was valued at around $300, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip by phone at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app that can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching for P3 Tips, or online at A cash reward is offered for information leading to an arrest.
