The world of anime features a wide variety of characters of all kinds who go through all kinds of character arcs, from arcs of redemption to falling into wickedness or finding their one true love, often in romantic and dramatic anime. Some characters never find their perfect lover or even try to, while others absolutely get their bliss forever.
Many couples in anime, whether it’s the main couple or a supporting couple, endure all kinds of hardships and hardships together and achieve their happily ever after, which often also involves marriage. While the Ichigo/Rukia couple was popular among Bleach fans, the story eventually paired Ichigo with Orihime, as the Bleach manga shows in its latest chapter. Both effectively retired from the shonen hero business, got married, and had a son, Kazui.
8 Ken Kaneki defied the odds as a ghoul (Tokyo Ghoul)
University student Ken Kaneki was horrified when Dr. Kano turned him into a one-eyed ghoul early in the story. tokyo ghoul, but Ken soon learned to make the most of it, even after being captured and tortured by Aogiri Tree. He also has friends by his side, including Banjo, Nishio, and most importantly, Touka Kirishima the thief.
Ken and Touka slowly grew closer during tokyo ghoul and its sequel, and in the end, they finally brought peace back to Tokyo and savored it in style. Later they got married and had a daughter together. All is well for this family of ghouls.
7 Levy McGarden is happy with Gajeel (Fairy Tail)
Book-loving wizard Levy McGarden is a member of the Fairy Tail guild, and at first she didn’t have much of a love life, especially compared to Gray Fullbuster-obsessed Juvia Lockser. Then Levy and her new guildmate Gajeel Redfox became friends, then very good friends.
In later story arcs, Levy and Gajeel had become true lovers, and one of them would risk his life for the other. They got married after a while and had their happily ever after, including Levy who got pregnant with their first child. A new family is born.
6 Misaki Ayuzawa married this evil alien (Maid-Sama!)
Seika High School’s student council president Misaki Ayuzawa has long had a strained relationship with the boys at her school. She was haunted by the memory of her father abandoning the family and leaving them in poverty, so she was slow to trust the charismatic Takumi Usui when he showed interest in her.
Misaki didn’t like him at first, but they soon forged a strong friendship, and then a strong romance took hold as well. In the original version Maid-Sama! manga, an epilogue set 10 years later depicts Misaki and Takumi happily marrying, including a dramatic helicopter departure. Happily forever realized.
5 Futaro Uesugi married one of the quintuplets (the quintuplets par excellence)
The first scenes of The Quintessential Quintuplets made it clear that the studious Futaro Uesugi would eventually marry one of the five Nakano sisters he was guardian of, but for a long time fans had no idea which quintuple Fuataro would get his happily ever after. Then the manga provided the answer.
Futaro had his happily ever after with the playful and carefree Yotsuba Nakano, the fourth sister, and Yotsuba’s four sisters were very happy for her and Futaro. However, it is unclear what kind of family they will form together.
4 Avatar Korra found love with Asami Sato (The Legend of Korra)
The animated series The Legend of Korra presented a wonderful happiness for the hero, Avatar Korra, who found love with his teammate, Asami Sato. Up until then, both characters had had a tough time with their love lives, especially Korra in the first book: Air.
Interestingly, Korra and Asami had dated firebender Mako before, but it didn’t work out for either of those characters. Later, at the end of Book Four: Balance, Korra and Asami finally realized that they were good for each other and held hands at the end of the story.
3 Edward Elric used alchemy to propose to Winry (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
State Alchemist hero Edward Elric had a hard time admitting his budding feelings for his childhood friend Winry Rockbell, and it doesn’t help that he’s a defensive tsundere. In the end, however, Edward was a much more confident (and taller) young man who was ready to become Mr. Romance.
After the battle with Father ended, Edward used alchemy terms to propose marriage to Winry, and it worked. They found their forever bliss in their rural hometown of Resembool, and based on a few photographs, they started their own family. All is well with the Elrics.
2 Naruto Uzumaki found his bliss forever with Hinata (Naruto)
Naruto Uzumaki can join Ichigo and Edward in the “shonen heroes who got married” club, and his happily ever after is one of the most popular in the anime world today. Unlike the controversial Ichigo/Orihime pairing, the Naruto/Hinata pairing has always had strong fan support, and the naruto animated delivered.
Hinata Hyuga had always admired Naruto, and she confessed her love to him during the battle against Pain in Shippuden. Naruto returned those feelings in full, and they got married at the end of the story to set things up. Borutofeaturing Boruto and Himawari Uzumaki.
1 Taro Kabakura enjoyed his marriage (Wotakoi)
Wotakoi is an office comedy/romance series featuring four closeted otaku, including kuudere Hirotaka Nifuji, cheerful Narumi Momose, cosplay enthusiast Hanako Koyanagi, and anime geek Taro Kabakura. While Hirotaka and Narumi are happy as boyfriend and girlfriend, Taro has taken things a step further.
Even though he often clashes with Hanako, Taro absolutely loves her, and vice versa, so he worked up the courage to propose marriage at some point in the Wotakoi manga. He and Hana enjoyed their Western-style marriage very much, and it didn’t take long for them to get used to married life either. All is well, now and in the future.
